Designed specifically for translating microphone-level inputs to levels best suiting effect pedal signal chains, the Franklin Audio MP-10 is a streamlined and seamless device to bring your ideas to life in blissfully high fidelity.
Running a microphone straight into your favorite effect pedals isn't as easy as you'd imagine. Designed for instrument-level inputs you'd get out of things like, say, an electric guitar, most effect pedals won't work as ideally as you'd like with a microphone input adapter alone. This is where the MP-10 comes in.
The MP-10 converts low-level microphone signals to signals fitted for use in effect pedals downstream in a signal chain. This device features ultra-high headroom and proper impedance to make sure your microphone signals are translated properly to your pedals. The MP-10 additionally provides 48V of phantom power to microphones requiring it – and plenty of types of microphones, at that – should they be ribbon, condenser, or dynamic. This device from Franklin Audio also features push-button switches for ground lift, XLR connections for microphone in and thru, and operates on nine-volt power.
